Unit 12 -- Electrolysis

We take a look at two examples of electrolysis using our Pencil Electrolysis apparatus. The battery causes the electrodes to be positive and negative. The ions in solution migrate to the two electrodes, and reduction occurs at the negative electrode while oxidation occurs at the positive electrode.
