Nuclear Energy. Corey Matthews

by Charles Lansing on Nov 20, 2013

Nuclear energy makes up 20 percent of our electrical needs and 7 percent of our total energy needs. Most of that is transportation needs. Nuclear energy is very efficient. About one table spoon of uranium will be equal to a whole mountain of coal! The only waste products are Cherenkov water and nuclear waste. What I liked was that nuclear energy is actually pretty cool. I like to see how we do stuff like that and how it all works out. What I didn't like was how this is not our main source.
