Luis Lioe

About Me

Mr Luis Lioe is a Mathematics teacher with Nanyang Girls' High School. He graduated with Master of Science in Mathematics from NUS (under research scholarship) and Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from NIE/NTU. Prior to teaching in NYGH, he had worked in Math Dept NUS as Graduate Tutor to teach Science and Engineering undergraduate students for 2 years and worked in CRPP/NIE as Research Associate to study and support teaching and learning of mathematics in Singapore schools for 6.5 years. His research area involves mathematical problem solving in primary and secondary schools, teaching and learning of statistics in junior colleges, mathematical modelling for undergraduate students, videography data analysis, lesson study, and using e-learning to build teachers professional learning communities.
