A introduction to poetry: what it is, how it's read, and how it works. You will listen to a bunch of poems, we will discuss a few of them (your choice) and you will write some poems of your own. If you choose the extension activity you will learn about some poetic terms, you will read more poetry and you will write one poetry response.
