Adding 1 and 2 when there aren't any bottom beads left to complete your addition. To add 1, use the heaven bead (push the heaven bead down) and take 4 earth beads away (1 = 5 - 4). To add 2, use the heaven bead (push the heaven bead down) and take 3 earth beads away (2 = 5 - 3).
